We are living in the End Times according to bible prophecy. The coming Antichrist is not far off. The only thing holding him back is the church made up of followers of Jesus Christ. Once God’s people are removed from the earth the Antichrist will make his appearance. He has various names. One of those names is simply “the wicked one”. In 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 we read in the Contemporary English Version :

“9 When the wicked one appears, Satan will pretend to work all kinds of miracles, wonders, and signs. 10 Lost people will be fooled by his evil deeds. They could be saved, but they will refuse to love the truth and accept it. 11 So God will make sure they are fooled into believing a lie. 12 All of them will be punished, because they would rather do evil than believe the truth.”

The Antichrist will rule over the earth for a 7 year period. That period is known as “The Tribulation. (The meaning of TRIBULATION is distress or suffering resulting from oppression or persecution.”) The first 3 1/2 years of this 7 year period are relatively peaceful, but the last 3 1/2 years will be horrific … worse than any previous time on earth. That 3 1/2 year period is known as “The Great Tribulation”. During that time God will pour out His wrath on the earth and it inhabitants. In modern vernacular God is “pissed off” at mankind. This is because of the rebellion of man … in that people reject His salvation and choose their evil ways. After all, He suffered and died on a cruel cross to save all of mankind so it is not surprising that He is extremely upset with anyone who rejects the salvation He alone offers.

Believe me when I tell you that you don’t want to be here when God’s anger is poured out. During those times you will have two choices … 1) Receive the Mark of the Beast in order to go on living and go to hell when you die … or … 2) refuse the Mark of the Beast and get saved but get beheaded. Those are the choices, the only choices. Some say that this Great Tribulation period will be hell on earth. Satan will certainly reign and make things mighty miserable. And then God will begin pouring out His judgement upon the earth.

It is all very real and true. It is going to happen. The question is … are you ready? Are you prepared? What have you done about it? What will you do about it? It is most foolish and dangerous to procrastinate … put it off … delay taking needed action. Now is the day of salvation. You may not have a tomorrow. The more you put it off the more likely you will continue to do so. Like I said, you can get saved during the Great Tribulation period but it will mean death by beheading. It is much easier to live for Jesus now than it will be then. Jesus, like Clint Eastwood, is saying to you … “Go ahead, make My day!” … by calling on My Name asking for My salvation.
