There is no doubt in my mind that the U.S. flag should be flown upside down indicating that the United States is a nation in distress. It is often flown at half mast and most of those times seem to be because of the death of citizens who were victims of mass shootings. This is indeed very tragic, but what do we get from political leaders? They blame it on guns and want to take guns away from American citizens. That certainly is not the answer. They would love to get our guns away from us making it all the easier for them to fully take over of lives and freedoms. I am sure we have all heard the saying that “guns don’t kill people, people kill people”. That is certainly a true statement. The problem is very obvious for those who are capable of thinking. I am almost 77 years old. When I was young growing up we never had police at our schools. Now they are assigned to be at the schools daily. And I am talking about middle schools and even younger, not just high schools. Why do you suppose that is? What happened that this has become necessary? The answer is simple enough. We as a society kicked God out of our lives. Not when I was in school, but it happened later. God being the gentleman that He is respected our choice and got out of our lives. We see the results daily. And each year it has grown worse. Our nation is filled with people who hate God and want nothing to do with Him. Unless and until we repent and ask God back into our lives and to rule over us we will continue to slide down suffering the result of choosing to ignore and reject a loving God  Who alone is able to bless our nation as He once did. Yep, “old glory” should be flown upside down testifying as to what we have done to ourselves. God awaits the repentance of the ungodly … If My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.” Isaiah 7:14

UPDATE; July 16, 2024 – President Trump was shot in an assassination attempt. It was a shot heard around the world yet the controlled fake news media was silent when it happened. Later they came out with this nonsense —

CNN: “Secret Service rushes Trump off stage after he falls at rally”

Washington Post: “Trump escorted away after loud noises at rally”

USA Today: “Trump removed from stage by Secret Service after loud noises startles former president, crowd”

So who are you going to believe? We are a nation much in great distress!
