Now I ask ya … what does that Greek word sound like? Hmmm, maybe Pharmaceutical or drugs in English. The Greek word pharmakeia appears in Galatians 5:20 and Revelation 18:23 in God’s Word, the bible. These are typically translated into English as “sorcery,” “witchcraft,” or “sorcerer.” Drugs have been around for a long time, but never as prevalent as modern days. Hundreds of thousands of human lives have been lost to the use and abuse of drugs. In short, God has said in His Word that this will happen and be a very serious problem in the End Times.

It is so serious that our nation has literally declared war against those who are supplying these drugs. We see pictures and videos like these proving we mean business.

Pretty much all branches of our military are involved in this, especially the Navy and Coast Guard. These people who are bringing these drugs into our nation are devious and tricky. There is big money involved in this so they do whatever they have to do to accomplish their horrific deed. One very successful way they have come up with is to build and use small submarines. A 3 million dollar sub hauls several million dollars of illegal drugs as cargo. One was recently intercepted by the US Navy and destroyed upon removal of their cargo. It was discovered that that submarine had previously made at least two successful deliveries into the U.S.

Countries who allow the manufacture and distribution of drugs are not happy with the U.S. over this warfare. Of course, none of them are in a position to do anything about it.

Anyway, Satan (the devil) is behind it all and he is using drugs mightily to control people and get them to do horrific things to their fellow man. Of course, his goal is to take as many people with him to hell and using drugs is a “shoe in” for him.

I want to throw this out for what it is worth … as a child growing up in northeastern Indiana in small towns in the 1950s and 1960s I had never even heard the word marijuana much less had any exposure to it. I was in the navy and in my early 20s before that changed. I still to this day (I am almost 79 as I write this) have never had any close proximity to it. Nowadays young children are exposed to marijuana.

We all are engaged in a battle for our mind and Satan has already won that battle with most of us. Our thinking determines our hearts. And there is a definite connection and correlation between the heart and the mind. Is the battle ongoing in your life or has Satan already won it? As long as you have breath and a heartbeat it is not too late. You can let the light of the gospel in and allow it to transform your life. One thing is for sure … drugs are a loser’s game. As they say … THEY DON’T CALL IT DOPE FOR NOTHING.
