THERE IS A DIFFERENCE

I have a niece and nephew in the Philippines that I have never met and likely never will in this lifetime. Consequently I can only say that I know who they are but I can’t truthfully say that I know them. How can we possibly know someone we have never met? If someone were to ask me if I know them I would have to say no. This is true for all of us.

Now I ask you … do you know Jesus? You may know a lot about Him but if you have never met Him you cannot say that you know him. The good news is you can know Him. You can meet Him personally. He wants to meet you … to have a personal relationship with Him. He is real … not just a myth or a figment of the imagination.

If you never take the opportunity to meet Him then someday you will hear Him say to you … “Depart from Me. I never knew you. …”. Departing from the Savior only leaves you with one place to go … down … down to hell.

Yes knowing someone and knowing about someone is not the same thing. THERE IS A DIFFERNCE!
