Modern warfare is so much different now than it was when I served in the Navy. Missiles were just becoming popular when I got out. We had just gotten a missile launcher aboard ship just as I was getting out. I got to see it, but that is all. Missiles are extremely expensive. Israel has the Iron Dome defense system where incoming missiles are shot down. Each one of those missiles Israel fires cost 4 million dollars. Now they have a laser weapon for shooting down incoming missiles which only costs about $1-4 every time they shoot it. The US military has laser weapons aboard some Navy ships also … very powerful, very effective and so much cheaper to operate. We also have land based and mobile vehicles with lasers as well as some aircraft.

We live in some dangerous times. I don’t know how safe we are. I know we have a God Who watches over us. That is not to say that something can’t happen to us, but it does mean that it first has to pass thru God’s hands and be allowed. I am so thankful that we have a national leader who wants to see our nation turn back to God. Sadly just because it happens on paper doesn’t mean it happens in the hearts of the people. Half of the people of this nation seem to be in opposition. They even call that which is good evil and that which is evil good. Liberals seem to go thru life with their brain malfunctioning. I am very concerned about the division we see in our nation as scripture says that a nation divided against itself can not stand. I don’t know what is going to happen to the U.S., but I do know that the U.S. is not mentioned in End Time bible prophecy. It is like … here today, gone tomorrow. That is all the more reason for anyone who is lost to come to the Savior now while they can.
