It may not be proper English but it’s true. I have never thought about it before until now. I ran across a YouTube video by this title. People who believe in God whether they are saved or not seem to always have something to sing about, but atheists have no hope and therefore no songs to sing. For an atheist the grave is it. There is certainly nothing to get excited over … nothing to write about … nothing to shout about … nothing to sing about. What a boring dead end life. What is the sense of such a life? Just a lot of wasted years with nothing to show for it. I can’t imagine going thru life and not having anything to sing about. God gave us music but for those who don’t have anything in their heart or life to sing about … oh my!

Yes, God gave us the song. It has changed somewhat over the years. I can honestly say I much prefer what we have in my lifetime to that of yesteryear. I can’t say much for where we seem to be headed musicwise. But that is another matter. Yes, God gave the song.

Atheists just don’t have anything to sing about. I am sure glad I am not an atheist anymore. I now have many songs in my heart and life. I love the songs God has given me. No one can do away with the songs God gives. Many have tried but always without success. They may silence it briefly, but it always returns … stronger and better than ever. It is God’s song and it is here to hear forever and forever. God gave the song … not man. Just like the Holy Scriptures, man may have written it, but God inspired it. We would not have it without God giving both to us. From A to Z, God gave it all. God always gives us His best … His all … His ultimate.

Among the good things God gives to us is other people. We are to love the people God gives us … as someday He will want them back.

Yes, it is a proven fact … none of us are here forever. We all have a divine appoinment. None of us know when that appointment is. Aaron Wilburn was such a gift from God. I am sure no one in his circle knew that Covid would end his life among us. God took him back. He is no longer writing songs and singing them unto us before the Lord.

Yes, someday we all will be recalled by our Creator. Are you ready for that meeting at your appointed time?You can be. Are things right between you and God? Have you settled the sin issue in your life? I hope so as it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Besides, He wants to put a song in your heart.
