Most of us would readily say that we want justice. We especially want justice in the courtroom. All too often the guilty get away with the wrong they have done. It infuriates us and well it should. Yes, justice should prevail in the court room, but it doesn’t always. We have corrupt lawyers and judges in the land. So we don’t and won’t always get justice in courts. But God is a just God and He always gives out justice. The system He has in place assures that everyone will receive justice. If there is one place where you are assured to get justice God has created it. It is called hell. You will receive justice there. People who go there will receive exactly what they deserve.

As for me, when it comes to eternity I want mercy and grace … not justice. I don’t want what I deserve which is hell. Yes, I deserve hell and so do you. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Our sin is rebellion against God. We may not see things that way, but it doesn’t matter what we think. It matters what God thinks and says. After all, He is God and we are not. I think some of us think we are God, but it simply isn’t so. It is crazy and foolish not to fear God. We fear our fellow man who is only able to kill us but we don’t fear God who not only can kill us but can send us to hell for all of eternity. It makes no sense. A respectful fear of God is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom, but fools despise such.

Anyway, if you really want to receive justice just go to hell. You’ get justice there. You will get paid for the sin in your life for the wages of sin is death … eternal damnation apart from God. If that is what you want, you have it. It is a sure thing. But if you want a full pardon … well, all you have to do is repent and turn to God with your sin. If you are sincere, God will forgive you of your sin give you a new heart and life. It is your choice … justice or grace and mercy.
