We have all heard of it, but what is it? What does it mean? What will happen? When will it happen? Who will be effected? How will it change my life? Should I be afraid? Why is Jesus returning to earth? I will try to answer these questions. And maybe some more questions will be answered as well. Let’s start off with a video which addresses most of these questions.

1) What is it? — The physical return of the Lord Jesus when He sets down on the Mount of Olives east of Jerusalem. That is the very spot He lifted off of earth when He departed earth. He is coming back in the same way and at the same spot He left.

2) What does it mean? — It is the fulfillment of prophecy as Jesus said He would return and it is prophesied in the bible.

3) What will happen? — When Jesus’ feet touch down on earth an earthquake will happen there and it will go right thru the eastern gate that was sealed off to keep Jesus from going thru it. Needless to say, nothing will keep Him from going thru. A third temple will be built before then and Jesus will go to it as He reenters Jerusalem. He will take His seat to rule and reign over Jerusalem, Israel and all the world … for He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

4) When will it happen? I don’t know. Nobody knows … not even Jesus Himself. Only God the Father knows. But we know it will be soon as all the signs … the prerequisites … are here. It will be at least 7 more years as the Great Tribulation period has to happen first where the anti-Christ will rule and reign. The Great Tribulation period is 7 years long.

5) Who will be effected? — Everybody in the whole world.

6) How will it change my life? — For the better. There will be peace and great blessing for everybody. No more violence and evil in the world. There will be justice for all. Jesus will be the perfect Ruler.

7) Should I be afraid? — That depends on you and your relationship with God. If you never repented of your sin and received Jesus’ forgiveness and salvation then yes, you should be terrified for Jesus will be returning in great anger to pour out His wrath on those who have rejected His offer to save them. For those who have repented and acknowledged their sin and need of salvation asking for His forgiveness they will welcome Him with open arms and serve Him in some capacity in His government.

8) Why is Jesus returning to earth? — I have already answered that … to deal with sinful man, to deal with the anti-Christ and to set up His own government to rule justly for 1000 years.

9) What can or should I do to prepare for this? — I have already answered that question too. You need to be ready. You need to be saved. You need to have your sin forgiven. You need to be born again and in the process of being changed from within by the power and presence of God. In short, you need to be in right relationship with God. The late Billy Graham did a good job of covering the subject of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Some great events lie ahead. God’s saved people won’t be here on earth to go thru what lies ahead as God promised to remove them beforehand. Jesus is coming back before His 2nd coming but He won’t tough down on earth. He will remain in the air and call His children up to meet Him in the air. This event is known as the RAPTURE of the Church.This will happen because God’s saved people are not appointed to His wrath. I would not want to be here to go thru what is coming upon the earth. You don’t have to be here either. God knows our hearts. He knows whether or not we are serious and sincere. If you are serious come … just as you are. Pray … talk to God … acknowledge your sin and repent …change your mind as you allow God to change your heart … receive His forgiveness and be born again which is necessary to go to heaven when you die or Jesus returns for His Church. I hope between what I have shared and these two videos any and all questions about Christ’s 2nd Coming have been answered and understood.
