It does not matter who you are. It does not matter how rich you are. It does not matter how important you are. It does not matter how much of this world’s goods you possess. No, nothing matters. There is one thing you can not keep. Some have tried different methods, but nothing has worked. Do you know what that one thing is? You can’t keep your life.

I deal with people nearly everyday who don’t believe in God. Sometimes they get rather belligerent and feisty. And cocky … smart alecky. Certainly a person does not have to believe in God, but do you know what God says about it? He says, “a fool says in his heart that there is no God”. We have ample proof of the existence of God. A person would have to be an utter fool to say there is no God. And yet I deal with such people nearly everyday. They are out there. And I used to be one of them. I was a fool!

Why don’t people believe? I suppose there are various reasons, but there is no excuse accepted. That is because we all have the innermost witness of God in us. Our argument is against Him and Him alone. He doesn’t need any defense. Like I said, every one of us already have all the evidence we need. A person doesn’t need to look any farther than the end of their arm to see plenty of evidence.

I believe that the reason people don’t want to believe in God is because if they did/do then they would have to be accountable to Him. Of course, they are anyway whether they believe in God or not. But if they can fool themselves going thru life saying there is no God then they think they will escape what they have heard all of their lives. Try as you may, it isn’t going to work. Nothing will work. You will face your Creator when you die. God gave you your life and when the time comes He will take if back in physical death. Do you really think you can stop this? Do you really think you can avoid the accountability. He tells us that we will be judged for every word we ever speak … every thought we ever think … and every thing we ever do. That pretty well covers all bases.

I don’t think anyone wants to face that. I know I certainly don’t want to. I am just so thankful that God made a way where I don’t have to face this judgement. Oh, I still have to face Jesus, my Creator, in judgement, but not that judgment. I would be in big trouble if I had to face that judgement. No, I have a different judgement thanks to Calvary That other judgement has only one sentence … eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire. Wouldn’t you rather swallow your pride and deal with your sin problem while you can and receive forgiveness from Jesus and the assurance of eternal life with Him in heaven? That is a whole lot better than playing the loser’s game with your eternal soul and find yourself facing the judgement where you end up in the Lake of Fire.

Satan, the devil, is a liar and deceiver and He has most people deceived disbelieving God and what God has said. He tells people that there is no God … just go ahead and live your life however you want to. You’ll be okay, you’ll be fine. Don’t listen to these religious nuts. There is no truth to anything they say. Are you willing to stake your eternal soul against that? Not, me. My parents didn’t raise a fool! Did yours?
