We have a choice! Yes, we have a choice in whether or not we obey God. We also have consequences as to whether we obey Him or not. With obedience comes His blessings and with disobedience comes His cursing. There is a contest of sorts going on between God and Satan. God has told Satan that there will be multitudes of people who will obey Him of their own free will … because they want to … not because they have to. God is love! He demonstrated His great love for us when He died in our place. He did this when we were in the very act of sinning and rebelling against Him. He not only died for us but He took upon Himself a horrific beating and one of the most painful deaths ever devised by wicked evil man. He willingly endured this so that salvation is available to us. THAT’S LOVE!!! He did this for you and me. When we realize and understand this we will want to do that which pleases Him. And as I already mentioned we will be blessed by God when we obey Him. You have the choice to be blessed or cursed by God. He wants to bless us! What will you do with Jesus?
