We have all seen the image of the three wise monkeys together demonstrating a message to see, speak and hear no evil. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. We can’t make evil go away by trying to ignore it, pretend it doesn’t exist, hide from it or tune it out. That’s foolishness … and it is dangerous.
Obviously that is a very old cartoon. It certainly is far from being scriptural. We can not battle against Satan like they did. He is way too powerful for us to mess with. Scripture tells us that Satan is the god of this world. He reigns over mankind and will continue to do so until Jesus does something about it. (And He will!)
Evil is so very real and it is everywhere in this world. October 6th in Israel certainly proved how evil man can be. Of course, we are talking about a religion whose god is Satan so we certainly can expect such evil. I hope you don’t have evil in your heart. But do you vote for those who do? Do you support them in their agenda? Where do you stand on the matter of abortion? Same sex marriage? Transgender-ism? How about sex before marriage or out of wedlock? Homosexuality?
Unfortunately we can’t just close our eyes and avoid evil like the one monkey suggests. In fact, all three monkeys are not realistic. Doing as they suggest would be foolish and dangerous. We, ourselves, may be able to avoid participating in evil, but we certainly can not stop it. Sadly, half of our nation is blind to the evil in our land. We see that every time we have political elections. We now have the name change … DEMONcrats. And it sure is fitting. I think they are all demon possessed. And people vote for them and stand with them. How sad and shameful.
Evil is here to stay until God ends it … and He will end it. I truly look forward to that day and time. Satan will be placed in a bottomless pit for 1000 years. Then he will be let loose for a season and for a reason and immediately there will be some who join forces with him in one last attempt to overthrow God. They will meet their doom and there will be no more evil to contend with.
Evil will run rampant before that happens. I sure would not want to be living on this earth when that happens. It is going to get ugly folks … real ugly. People will be forced to take the Mark of the Beast if they want to eat. And, if they do receive the Mark of the Beast they will have doomed themselves to hell. And, if anyone refuses to receive the Mark of the Beast they will be beheaded. Doesn’t that sound like a fun time?
That is what lies ahead folks. There is nothing anyone can do to stop it. But you can avoid it simply by repenting and accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord. They call these 3 monkeys wise, but the real wisdom is in getting saved while you can and avoiding the evil that awaits you.
