That is a fair question. Can you think of any reason you would want to go to hell? I sure can’t. I am not much of a fan of darkness. About all it is good for in this life is sleeping and committing sin. Darkness helps to hide sin. Anyway, back to hell … I don’t think I would enjoy listening to the screams of others as they suffer in anguish and torment. I would be screaming right along with them. And there will be gnashing of teeth. That sure sounds horrible as well. And I don’t like hot weather so I know I would not like it there. I know being exposed to fire in this present life is horrible. Those on earth who die in a fire die a terrible death. Fortunately for many they die of smoke inhalation before the fire reaches them so they don’t experience being burned alive. Yes, that would be bad, but just imagine being exposed to hellfire but never dying … just suffering greatly. There is no end to it. It just goes on and on and on … forever. So what in hell do you want?

But that is where you are headed if you ignore/reject the salvation Jesus offers you. That is a sure thing. You have God’s Word on it. People are known to say that they want to go to hell as that is where all their buddies will be … and you will all have one big party. Sorry to disappoint you, but that ain’t gonna happen. Your buddies might all be there but you won’t be aware of anyone else other than their screams. No parties in hell! No marshmellows allowed! Even if you could roast them you could not remove them from the fire.

There are only two things in life to worry about. God has left the choice up to you. You can spend eternity with Him in heaven or an eternity apart from God in the Lake of Fire. I ask you again … what in hell do you want?
