“While the earth remains, Seed time and harvest, Cold and heat, Summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22 This was God’s promise to Noah as they departed the ark stepping onto dry land after the great flood that destroyed all life on earth.

However, this present world is slated for destruction … not by man, but by God … and this time it will be by fire. There are at least 100 verses in the bible which tell us this. It is not the end of man, but only the earth. God is in control! He will replace the present earth with a new earth.

Many people spend way too much time and effort worrying about things that will never happen. God is in control! Even if God has to do something unusual or supernatural to keep such destruction from happening, He will. God is in control!

We hear on the news about sun spots, solar eruptions, celestial bodies speeding thru space on a collsion course with earth, etc., but nothing ever happens. God is in control! For what it is worth, there is coming a time when God will use stars and other celestrial “things” to destroy a portion of and punish sinful man.

No, I don’t worry about any of these things. I can’t do anything about it anyway other than pray. I learned long ago that God is in control!

My life is in His capable hands. He is a personal God Who wants to have a personal relationship with each and everyone of us. He is real and wants to make Himself real to all of us. And He really is in control!
