DOES GOD HAVE A PLAN?
Does Ford and GM sell cars? Yes, God has a plan. If fact, He has several plans. God has an advantage in that He already knows everything. He knows all that is going to happen. Therefore He can plan accordingly. He can easily play Check and Checkmate with the Devil. He can always outsmart and outmaneuver anyone and everyone. He doesn’t have to have the latest or future technology to defeat His enemies. He can simply use something like the weather or earthquakes, floods, etc. or even have the earth open up to swallow them.
Satan is God’s arch enemy. Even though Satan knows his end he doesn’t give up. He fights against God and God’s people continually right up until the end … his end.
Bible prophecy reveals God’s plan to us.God told us ahead of time what would happen in the world so that we would not be taken by surprise or mislead … but that we would be prepared and encouraged. We also can be prayer partners praying for these various things to come to pass and for particular people … for strength, comfort, guidance, wisdom, and however else God would lead us to pray.
Yes, God has a plan, but not just one plan. He has a plan for everyone of us. And we don’t necessarily have to be saved to be a part of God’s plan. He uses unbelievers as well. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of examples of that. Most of them I readily think of is when these people were government leaders, but certainly one does not have to be such a leader to fulfill God’s purpose (s) in life.
Many of the examples I could site have to do with the nation of Israel when the U.S. President made something possible … something to happen … that opened the door for Israel or blessed Israel somehow. They are fascinating stories. In every case it was a matter of the right person in office at the right time. And often it was a matter of their mother telling them that if ever they have to opportunity to do something for Israel do it. And when Israel had a dire need the right person was in office to remember what their mother had told them and they did the thing asked of them.
I said previously that God has a plan for everyone of us. He really does. It starts with our accepting Jesus as our Savior and allowing Him to be the Lord of our life. It is a great plan … better than anything we might have come up with. We are most complete, most joyous most peaceful when we are in the very center of God’s will for our life. He will lead us into His plan for us. It all starts when we call upon His Name.
