I was just sitting here when an old song came to mind which I haven’t heard for years. It sorta pokes fun at various leaders of world religions. In doing so it shares the truth.
No, it won’t be any of these religious leaders sitting on the throne or calling any of us home. There is only One who occupies that role. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Do you know Him? You can and you must if you want to escape eternal damnation which is the punishment for sin in out lives. God offers salvation as a free gift. We can’t do anything to earn it. It is the grace of God alone. The only thing we need to do is REPENT and call upon the Name of Jesus acknowledging and confessing our sin asking Him for forgiveness and eternal life with Him. Turning from sin desiring to sin no more and live our life pleasing to Him is all He demands of us along with serving Him from then on.
Satan is very much alive. He is a liar and deceiver. He offers all sorts of distractions and alternatives which blind and mislead many people. There are so many false religions people are caught up in. There is only one way God provided to get to Heaven upon death. Most of us have known that way since childhood as the Holy Scriptures make it known and clear. Call on Him now while you can. Tomorrow may be too late.
