As you can readily see, the title of this video is “Why?”. At this point in time I don’t know why. I haven’t watched the entire video yet. I assume I will know why before the video ends. That didn’t take long. At 18:16 I had the answer. And I find that I agree with what he says. Why? That is the question. It is often what I ponder as well.

For instance, I can’t help but ask why someone would reject God’s and salvation and choose to go to hell for all eternity. My guess is that they don’t believe it is real and will really happen. Eternity is a long time to regret something we were wrong about.

Personally , I think it would behoove anyone to go to the little effort involved to look into God’s holy word. I would suggest starting in the book of John in an easy to read and understand version of the bible. That is only one book so it won’t take all that long to read it.

But before you do I also suggest the following: 1) empty your mind and heart of anything and everything that you have ever thought or been taught concerning spiritual things so that you start off with a clean slate 2) Ask God to speak to you thru His written Word and help you to understand what you read 3) Ask God to show you the truth. Just those 3 things can make all the difference. If you struggle with anything you read … don’t get frustrated and give up. Take your time and tell God that you really need His help understanding what you are reading. If you continue to struggle with it and need help I will gladly help in anyway I can. I want to say that I was a hard hearted atheist when I did this. It was the book of John I first read and it was this same version of the bible I read. God spoke to me very clearly helping me to see and understand the truth. He can do the same for you if you only let Him. He doesn’t want you to go to hell, but it is your choice. If you end up in hell you will only have yourself to blame. Our loving Creator made a way for us to escape going to hell. It is simply a matter of acknowledging sin in our life … agreeing with God. That is the starting point.
