Possibly one of the most significant miracles Jesus did while He lived among us was to resurrect His friend, Lazarus, from the dead. Lazarus had already been dead for 4 days and his body laid in a tomb. Jesus had been summoned while Lazarus was still alive, but Jesus took His time showing up. The people didn’t understand why Jesus had allowed Lazarus to die and they were disappointed that He hadn’t shown up to heal him preventing his death.
God has said in His written Word that His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts and His timing is not our timing. They are above ours! He has a purpose in all that He does. In this situation with Lazarus His purpose for being late is for His greater glory. He could have shown up earlier and simply healed Lazarus but which is the greater miracle? He demonstrated that He is the master over life and death and able to resurrect the dead.
Yes, even when Jesus was 4 days late He is still just on time! To God be all the glory! He is a good and awesome God!

Sadly Covid took the life of Aaron Wilburn ending the gift he was to many people, myself included. I was privileged to have met and conversed with Aaron at length a couple of different times. Once at our church in Auburn, Indiana and once at our church in Duluth, Georgia. I even made him laugh when I ran up toward him with my arms raised yelling “Richard Simmons” as he had told us that people thought he looked like Richard Simmons (and also Rod Steward) back at that time in his life. Aaron was not only a singer and song writer, but he was a great standup comedian.
