Some people just seem to like to argue. Somethings are worth arguing over while other things are not. We need to be careful when we find ourselves in disagreement with others. And one thing for sure it is not wise to argue with God. No one can win an argument with Him. We may think we are right, but I assure He can prove us wrong. We can believe that truth is on our side, but when arguing with God we are arguing with Truth. We don’t stand a chance. God is always right. Many people have discovered just how wrong they were when they went up against God.

Of course, many people go thru life with a closed mind and a hardened heart. They just are not open to the truth and no matter how much they are exposed and challenged by it they reject it. That is sad, very sad, but the hardest part is they will eventually know and be convinced of the truth although it will be too late then. They will find out that they lost their argument with God. God just doesn’t lose arguments.

I have been dealing with a man who rejects the bible as myths and fairytales. He reads various offerings of those whose goal it is to call God and His Word a liar. Satan will and does certainly offer it. He believes the devil’s lies rather than the Truth of God. Because he can find so much written which goes against God and His Word he is fully convinced of what he says he believes. There is no arguing nor reasoning with him. I share some with him, but when I see the hard hardheartedness and closed mindedness I withdraw as nothing is being accomplished.

God has told us that we should not bother with people like that. It is throwing pearls before the swine. We are not to waste our time when the truth is rejected like that. All that is left is to pray for them … that their eyes, ears and heart will be opened and they will come to the truth … that God will reach them and have His way in their life. They can spend their life arguing with God, but it is all in vain. God doesn’t lose arguments … He never has and He never will.
