It is kind of a cute song, but it is dead serious. The devil is real and is plenty powerful compared to mere man. Anyone who tries to go up against the devil in his own strength is foolish. However, for those who belong to God thru a personal relationship with Jesus it is a different matter altogether. The devil is no match for God and he knows it. Scripture says to believers … “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” Scripture further describes the devil as a toothless lion when it comes to his power in a believer’s life. Satan goes around roaring trying to intimidate us. Anyway, I am reminded of a song …

In the phone booth dialing 911 for help. Certainly he has many demons he commands and can call upon. Even so, just one word from Jesus and the devil and his demons will flee. I am so thankful to be on the winning side. It was not always that way. I changed fathers. You can too. Before I was on the losing side. When it comes to your eternal destiny there is no such thing as indecision. If you haven’t decided for Jesus, then you have already decided against Him. There is no neutral ground. Woe unto those who die in their sins.
