Repent means to change one’s mind. Have you ever done anything or said anything that later you wish you had not done or said? I am sure most everybody could answer yes to that. God is no different. He created man only to see man become so evil and corrupt that He wished He had not created man. Thus God repented. You might exchange repent for regret. Genesis 6:6 He not only repented, He did something about it. He destroyed all of mankind with the exception of 8 people. And He said that in the End Times the conditions on earth will be just like they were in the days of Noah … wicked … evil … corrupt. God does not change. He does not change the way He is … His character … or Who He is … His heart , but He can and does change His mind. He wiped out mankind once before using a worldwide flood, but then promised never to do that again (using a flood) and then He told us that this present world will be destroyed by fire.

So, yes, God does repent! And He gets angry. I sure wouldn’t want God to get angry at me. What about you? He will if you fail to repent.
