The late Paul E. Paino was known and considered by many as a “pastor’s pastor” and had the largest church ministry in Fort Wayne, Indiana for many years which was quite actively involved in ministering thruout the world. He once preached a message entitled 5 ways Satan deceives us. One of the things Satan is known for and called is “Deceiver”. He is a master of it. Here is a video of Pastor Paino’s message.

Did you get all 5 things he mentioned? 1) When are deceived when we are tempted to disbelieve God’s Word or when we doubt what God says/said. 2) We are deceived when we trust in ourselves. 3) We are deceived when we think we should not have to suffer. 4) We are deceived if we think money and things are the key to happiness. 5) We are deceived when we feel we can’t forgive.

Never underestimate Satan and his influence and power in the lives of people including ourselves. Most deceit comes from/thru other people. Satan is crafty and powerful. We don’t stand a chance against him without the Lord’s help. We need always to remember that. We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
