Science thinks they have the answer, but they are wrong … very wrong. The truth is no one knows for sure. HERE is what science say about it. I don’t put much trust or hope in what man says apart from what God says. I believe God has told us everything we need to know about the matter and everything else. And what He has told us is that when we die one of two things will happen. If we are right with God we will experience what He has prepared for us. But if we have died in our sin we will experience what He has prepared for such a person. You can read about it HERE where you will find truth not guesswork.
There are many testimonies of people who have claimed to have visited the afterlife where they saw God and then returned to life. I personally have a hard time with their testimonies as God has told us no one has ever seen God and lived (Exodus 33:20) nor can they. No One Has Seen God at Any Time (John 1:18) God the Father has never been seen or heard by human beings. Jesus Christ said, “And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form” (John 5:37).
Keep in mind I am talking about God the Father not Jesus the Son. Jesus has been seen by many and continues to appear before people. Thruout history this has been true and He continues to been seen by many all over the world. Maybe you know of someone who claims to have seen Jesus. There are many testimonies of people who claim Jesus visited them by one means or another. There many testimonies of people getting saved as a result of Jesus visiting them. This especially true of many Muslims that God is saving. They have powerful testimonies.
All we really need to know is that we all will get our “whats comings”. The important thing to understand is that this life we are living is all we get. What we do with Jesus is all that matters. When we draw our last breath we have no more opportunity to get saved. Our eternal destiny is determined. God loves each and every one of us. It gives Him no pleasure to pronounce eternal damnation upon anyone, but it is our choice. Most people choose their sin over the salvation Jesus offers.
John 3:36 is the Scripture verse I selected long ago for the header of my Facebook page. “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.” It is important that we understand what is meant by “believe” as the devil and his demons believe but they are hell bound. Believe means to embrace within our hearts, our entire being … not just in our head. A person can miss heaven by as little as 18 inches … the distance between our head and our heart. In this life there are only two things to worry about . So what happens when we die? I can’t say for sure. One thing for sure … we will all find out. The death rate is still 10 out of every 10. No one has ever found a way to beat it.
